Hello and welcome to my new blog. My name is Stacey and I want to share my love of reading with everyone – by writing reviews and just generally talking about books and authors.

I am very interested in getting to know local writers, reading and reviewing their work – I want to support them, I want to the community to read their work. Without the support of the community you may never get where you want to be. Such is the life of a writer. I have read many articles written by debut novelists who talk of the struggles they have faced, the disappointments and the good things. But still, the articles are overshadowed by the gratitude for those people that supported them all the way through – their local libraries and friends. Their families. Their community. Without all this, how can anyone strive. So I implore you to support the little people. Those writing blogs and reviews. Those on twitter, a new thing to me, but an old thing to most. Help the little people. That is what I want to do here. Maybe one day it’ll be me.
